St. Louis police say an investigation into a weekend stabbing is ongoing -- but our guess is it's not likely to go very far.

That's because the victim, a 57-year-old man, doesn't remember where he was or who might have assaulted him. In fact, he didn't even realize he was stabbed until his sister found him sitting on the front porch of their residence -- intoxicated and with lacerations.

How serious were his injuries?

Apparently not serious enough for him to notice, though it depends on how intoxicated he might have been.

Police say that the victim's sister found him sitting down at their place on the 3100 block of Henrietta Street.  More

SANFORD — Trayvon Martin's girlfriend, the state's most important witness in the George Zimmerman murder case, was caught in a lie, it was revealed Tuesday.

It was not the first piece of misinformation tied to her, but it was the most damaging to date and left prosecutors in a very awkward position.

NEW YORK – It has been a dramatic fall for dot-com millionaire Jennifer Sultan.

Thirteen years ago, the New York City woman and her partners sold an Internet business for $70 million.

Now, she is set to receive a four-year prison sentence after pleading guilty Friday to dealing prescription painkillers and conspiring to sell an illegal gun.

Sultan's lawyer says she became addicted to painkillers in the years after her Internet windfall.

Even while living in splendor, she fell in with a group of drug dealers. Her fortune evaporated.  More

PITTSBURGH – Officials at a Roman Catholic church in Pittsburgh have a holy mystery on their hands. They say someone, somehow stole the building's organ -- and the 200 massive pipes required to play it.

WPXI-TV reported Friday that the music equipment worth $200,000 has disappeared from St. Justin's Church.

Church business manager Skip Hary says he's baffled how anyone could get the organ out of the building.

He says it would either have to be maneuvered down narrow flights of steps, or lowered over a balcony. And the pipes can only be accessed by a ladder into the ceiling.  More

PORTLAND, Ore. – More than 30 years after an Oregon high school student was found dead in a drainage ditch, authorities this week charged her former neighbor with aggravated murder thanks to advances in DNA technology, according to the Washington County Sheriff's Office.

Kenneth Lee Hicks, 49, of St. Helens, was arrested Wednesday and booked into the county jail without bail, according to a KOIN.com report.

Hicks was 19 when Lori Billingsley's body was found Oct. 10, 1982, in a drainage ditch in the community of Aloha. The 17-year-old had been beaten, stabbed, strangled and sexually assaulted.  More

NEW YORK – A 23-year-old man charged with killing and dismembering his mother appeared in court Thursday dressed in a garbage bag, and said he'd done nothing wrong.

Bahsid McLean was charged with murder, hindering prosecution and criminal possession of a weapon. According to a criminal complaint, he stabbed Tanya Byrd and then cut up her body with help from another man.

Byrd, a 45-year-old home health aide, was last seen alive Monday. Her remains were stuffed in four plastic garbage bags and scattered along four blocks, police said.

"I didn't do anything wrong," McLean said during court.

McLean's attorney for arraignment, Jerry Iannece, said his client wore the bizarre covering because he had been urinating on himself. His shorts he had been wearing were soaked through, so court personnel gave him the trash bag to wear, Iannece said.  More
