5 Ole Miss Frat Thugs Busted for Brutal Beating of Rival Brother - Mississippi

Oct 24, 2015

A handful of Ole Miss frat brothers were arrested this month when one of their stupid pranks went terribly wrong and they beat a student eyewitness within an inch of his life.

Brian Boyle was attacked by thugs from the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity after he undertook to thwart their theft of an outdoor statuette from his rival frat house.

The third-year accountant major suffered a concussion in the gang assault, as well as a bruised lung, damaged teeth, and a ruptured eardrum.

Ringleader freshman, Tucker Steil, was charged with felony assault for inciting his fellow frat bothers to brutalize Boyle, after the victim foiled the group’s plan to steal a donkey statue from Sigma Pi fraternity grounds.

Steil’s Pi Kappa Alpha cohorts -- James Basile, Christian Guy, Kyle Hughes and Austin Rice --were each charged with lesser counts of assault for the late night beating, plus hazing and theft of Sigma Pi’s property.

Those four earned additional loathing from their Ole Miss colleagues and community, too, after their smirking arrest photos went viral on social media.
