A fugitive sex offender on the run for 25 years was nabbed yesterday in Mexico.
Brutal serial rapist Paul Jackson and his co-offender Vance Roberts disappeared in the early 1990s following their indictments on charges of chaining and sexually torturing young women in their Oregon “house of horrors.”
Roberts turned himself in some16 years later and is currently serving out a 108-year sentence for the dual crime spree, but his half-brother Jackson apparently fled the United States.
U.S. Marshals finally tracked him down in Guadalajara, where the most-wanted man had been living “several years” under the alias Paul Bennett Hamilton.
They then notified Mexican immigration officials who detained, questioned, and deported Paul Jackson for re-arraignment on kidnapping and sex assault charges.
The 45-year-old fugitive from justice also faces additional counts related to escaping jurisdiction.
