#ALERT - Police in Texas are seeking the identity of a carjack witness who fired on two suspects, possibly drawing blood as they attempted to escape in their stolen vehicle.
The pair of carjackers left the owner of the truck they took last night at a northeast Houston fueling station with injuries, for which he’s currently being hospitalized.
Responding officers discovered the man’s stolen truck abandoned a few blocks from the crime scene with fresh blood inside, presumably belonging to at least one of the would-be carjackers.
Detectives are now hoping to question the gunman/witness who abruptly left the area after opening fire on the car thieves as they fled -- and perhaps even wounding the victim himself in the process.
