Two more fast food employees have been busted for providing some customers with less than happy meals, this time at a McDonald’s in Raleigh North Carolina.
Police there accuse 41-year-old Constance Alston and her 20-year-old accomplice Mecca Tomlinson of using credit-card skimming devices to steal hundreds from at least five unsuspecting patrons.
Both have been arrested on charges of credit card fraud and identity theft, in a crime spree the duo perpetrated last month.
But Alston and Tomlinson are just the latest fast food fraudsters caught utilizing pocket-sized skimmers to swipe credit card info from trusting customers and later charge hefty purchases to them.
In fact, in one underhanded hamburger heist this year, a Burger King server treated herself to a whopper of a spending orgy via a debit card account that, unbeknownst to her, belonged to a cop.
She’s in jail now.
