Another Saudi Royal Suspect Busted in the U.S.

Sep 25, 2015

Another Saudi prince has been busted on suspicion of behaving in a less than princely manner while on U.S. soil.

Another Saudi Royal Suspect Busted in the U.S.Majed Abdulaziz Al-Saud is accused of violently raping and detaining a young woman at his rented Beverly Hills mansion this week.

When officers attempted to take the suspect into custody there, Al-Saud claimed “diplomatic immunity” rather than innocence -- only to learn at the stationhouse that, for sex assault and false imprisonment, he didn’t have any.

The 28-year-old accused rapist is free today, after posting $300,000 bail.

He’s one of many House of Saud members to run afoul of the law while visiting the United States.

Most Saudi royal suspects, however, are permitted to claim diplomatic immunity for their criminal offenses, or else flee to their homeland before they can be prosecuted.
