Connecticut police say drug-addicted Kyle Navin killed his parents for financial gain, after learning they were about to disinherit him.

The missing couple’s remains were finally found this week on a vacant Bridgeport property not far from the suspect’s own residence.
They suspiciously vanished in early August 2015 and their troubled 27-year-old son Kyle Navin has long been suspected of foul play in their missing persons case.
Yesterday, investigators announced plans to charge him for the double homicide of his parents under “special circumstances” -- he’s already being jailed in Rhode Island for weapons and drug violations.
Navin’s girlfriend, Jennifer Valiante, has also been arrested now. She is accused of conspiring with him to murder Jeannette Navin and Jeffrey Navin, as well as hindering prosecution and obstructing justice.
The two hatched a plot to kill the affluent couple and thereby “solve every single problem and give us a wealthy amazing life” when it became clear the Navins intended to disown a financially-dependent grown son who was becoming increasingly destructive and hostile.
Records show Kyle Navin's slain parents had purchased the upscale Connecticut home he and his 31-year-old murder accomplice lived in, but that he repeatedly defaulted on paying the property taxes.
Both suspects will continue to remain in custody on bonds set in excess of $2-million each, and are expected to be arraigned for two counts of murder and related offenses as early as tomorrow.
