Florida Man Who Killed Masked Intruder Not Surprised Thug Was His Dad [mugshot]

Sep 10, 2015

A Florida man who killed a masked intruder this week wasn’t surprised to discover it was his dear old dad.

Malachi Heisler said he awoke to alarming sounds coming from the kitchen Tuesday night, so he grabbed his gun then fired it “without hesitation” when he saw a figure in full tactical gear pointing a firearm at his mom.

Turns out the bandit was Heisler’s own felonious father, who the 18-year-od claims he “unknowingly” killed on a belief the masked man was a violent stranger aiming to do him and his loved ones harm.

John Heisler, 46, was also violating a restraining order when he allegedly smashed a window to break into the Petersburg Florida house and terrorize his estranged family at gunpoint.

Armed to the teeth and dressed in assassin fatigue, including a ski mask, it would be last violent crime the repeat-offender ever committed: He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the incident report.

"I had a feeling that something like this would happen, but I didn’t know when,” the slain man’s son told reporters for the Tampa Tribune, after learning the actual identity of the armed intruder he had gunned down.

“He wasn’t a good dad,” Malachi Heisler further explained -- himself speaking through a red bandana. “No f—king father of the year awards.”
