Detroit’s scary Freezer Mom, charged with torturing and killing two of her four youngsters and then stuffing their bodies in an icebox, confessed in court to the double murder today at the top of her lungs.
"Everybody wants to know -- yes, I did kill her!" screamed Mitchelle Blair, in regards to one of the murdered kids who was only 13 when she died.
It’s the dangerously-demented defendant’s second outburst during as many judicial proceedings, in what’s proving to be one very sad and twisted homicide case.
At present, however -- because of her gruesome crimes -- the State is merely seeking to terminate the parental rights of the 35-year-old accused child- killer, so a remaining son, 8, and daughter, 17, can both find safe homes.
Yet each time Mitchelle Blair has made a court appearance in the matter she’s had to be forcibly removed from the room due to shouting and disruptive behavior.
That threatening conduct gives a pretty good glimpse of the kind of private hell Freezer Mom must have created for her sons and daughters; two of whom obviously didn’t survive the abuse to tell about it.
Indeed, it’s the testimony now of the ones who did live that she’s constantly trying to interrupt.
