Hardened Criminal Who Hoarded Thousands of Stolen Guns #Busted in SC

Oct 26, 2015

A hardened criminal suspected in a spate of local robberies was busted this weekend, after officers raided his South Carolina home and found an astonishing arsenal stashed there.

Chesterfield County deputies took 51-year-old Brent Nicholson into custody on Saturday and subsequently seized “thousands” of his stolen rifles and shotguns, too.

Investigators say the suspect has a “lengthy criminal record” and believe that certain items in his astounding cache will help them finally “wrap up” numerous unsolved break-ins throughout the region.

In addition to the “7000 to 10,000” illegal weapons they confiscated at his house, storage unit and liquor-store business, Nicholson also hoarded hundreds more pieces of contraband -- like chainsaws, stuffed deer heads, crossbows, and expensive power tools.

Police think these were probably pinched from seasonal homes or hunting cabins during his unprecedented and weird crime spree.

Over the years, the compulsive thief had amassed so much stolen loot, in fact, that it all had to be hauled away in tractor trailers.
