As seen in the graphic photo below, missing student James Hubert has been found alive by his Georgia Tech classmates today, badly injured and "incoherent."
Hubert was rushed to an Atlanta hospital for treatment of numerous injuries he suffered sometime after attending a downtown sorority party two days ago.
He was found semiconscious Monday lying beside railroad tracks near Dekalb Avenue with wounds consistent with blunt force trauma.
Eyewitnesses indicated that it appeared as if he had been assaulted, and that the apparent beating was severe enough to have rendered him incapable of returning to the college campus on his own volition.
A photo posted to Facebook a short time ago by the victim’s mother showed James Hubert with extensive facial bruising and contusions lying on a stretcher and looking dazed.
It’s not yet known what happened to the young man over the weekend, but obviously foul play can no longer be ruled out in his dramatic missing persons case.
Police announced they are still investigating the circumstances of Hubert’s disappearance on Friday night, and the source of his injuries.
