A quarrelsome college student has been booked on felony charges of poisoning and spitting into her roommates’ food.
The incident occurred in February at an off-campus apartment near the University of South Carolina, following a number of fallouts between Hayley King and her two housemates.
Concerned that King wouldn’t move out and that the toxic 22-year-old posed a significant threat, the two clandestinely recorded her between fights and were not surprised to learn she was perversely retaliating against them.
They then handed over the secret footage showing the roommate from Hell tampering with their refrigerated items, including pouring glass-cleaner into beverages and spitting into food containers.
Police say when Hayley King came in for questioning she confessed to the criminal act, was arrested for malicious tampering, and a day later released on her own recognizance after posting $5000 bail.
The poisonous young woman is due back in court next month, and could see herself behind bars for up to 20 years if convicted of the Class C Felony.
