Ex IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn is no pimp, a French court has finally decided, adding that the former wannabe-president probably didn’t even “know” he was prancing around with prostitutes.
It’s not necessarily illegal in France to hire whores, of course, but one can’t *gift* them, so to speak, and certainly one shouldn’t attempt to derive financial benefit from paid sex, nor the equivalent.
Strauss-Kahn has become infamous for an alleged over-developed taste for hardcore sex and sex workers, and he’s even been accused of outright rape on at least one known occasion.
Not surprisingly then, it’s that notoriously insatiable sexual appetite that eventually led to his political undoing.
But this week’s verdict acquitting the 66-year-old of charges he pimped prostitutes for political gain in 2011 ends the four-year sex saga that ultimately disgraced the IMF Chief and 13 other prominent citizens.
For what it’s worth though, almost all of Dominique Strass-Kahn’s codefendants were also found innocent of “aggravated pimping” -- including the owner of a brothel.
