A foolish Florida suspect gnawed off his fingertips en route to the police station Thursday on the false assumption that cops couldn’t fingerprint him for the crime he just perpetrated.
A surveillance video in the cruiser captured Kenzo Roberts at the stomach-turning act of eating flesh from the tips of his ten digits, and even trying to *sand* them down on the wire divider in the patrol car.
It was actually the fifth stupid crime the 20-year-old got caught red-handed at that day, since he’d already been apprehended for possession of a fake ID, phony credit cards, a stolen car, and an illegal firearm.
Pigging out on the not-so-tasty finger food proved a waste of time anyway, as cops were still able to lift his prints somehow and then match them up with two outstanding felony warrants in nearby Broward County.
The not-so-clever Kenzo Roberts is in jail now on $220,000 bond, and faces a handful of criminal counts in his latest arrest, including counterfeiting, grand theft auto, and weapons charges.
