Confiscated text messages in which Jared Fogle says he had amazing sex with a child are part of the body of evidence that’s threatening to land the disgraced foodie spokesman in hot water.
Federal investigators seized the former Subway guy’s computers and other devices last month in an ongoing child porn probe that began with one of Fogle’s ex associates.
Subway Sandwiches has publicly distanced itself from their once celebrated fast-food ambassador of 15-years, ever since the feds paid a surprise visit to Fogel’s Indiana mansion early in July.
Still, company representatives felt it to necessary to comment on the newest revelations:
“The latest allegation about Jared Fogle, if true, is appalling,” they said. “As previously stated, we have suspended our relationship with Jared."
Fogle’s bluntly worded sext confessions about a paid encounter with a young teenage girl he met on Craigslist were sent in 2008 to a love interest who was also a Subway affiliate at the time.
The two briefly texted about the illicit meet-up before the franchisee decided to report the matter to Subway managers, who, she claims in an affidavit, declined to act on her warning that Jared Fogel “should not be interacting with young people.”
“Is this the same website you found that 16 year old you that you f---ed?” one of the woman’s text messages read. “I still can’t believe you only paid $100 for her.”
Fogle then boasted: “It was amazing!!!!”
“What part of her ad made you think she was selling sex?” the woman texted back.
Fogle replied: “U will have to read them to see.”
The teen referenced in those damning communiqués has not been identified yet.
