The sadistic 25-year-old who beat his kitten and injected it with heroin last year has been leniently sentenced this week to only home confinement and community service for his sickening crime.

Dope fiend James Myers claims he’s been clean ever since being arrested for animal cruelty and drug possession in the summer of 2015, but “was high” at the time he assaulted his young cat named Hope.
Pennsylvania police found the nearly comatose and bloodied feline in Myers’ vehicle along with hundreds of bags of heroin, and busted the drug dealing addict.
His abused kitten -- which officers said was missing a tooth and had a rope around its neck -- was revived with Narcan, a pharmaceutical substance used to reverse potentially-fatal overdoses.
The veterinarian who treated the black cat has since adopted and renamed it Mephisto, noting that, despite the traumatic experience, he’s still playful and affectionate.
“He's the type of cat, when you come home at night, he runs to come and greet you,” she reports.
The sadist who tortured him was sentenced on September15th to a mere two months home detention and 150 hours of community service.
