This weekend in Florida an insanely jealous man committed the most insane murder in the history of so called crimes of passion.
Police have charged Fidel Lopez with first-degree murder after he confessed to disemboweling his girlfriend through her womb because she’d uttered her ex husband’s name “twice” during sex.
Neighbors in his apartment complex testified to overhearing hours of curious noises throughout Lopez’s predawn assault and gutting of Maria Nemeth with his bare hands on Sunday morning.
The suspect also admitted to shoving foreign objects into her orifices -- a bottle and a curling iron -- before and after her brutally protracted death.
According to a criminal complaint, police responding to the perpetrator’s own 911 call about the incident discovered the victim’s blood and tissue spattered all over the walls, floors, and ceiling of the couple’s rental unit.
They also noted that Lopez had ripped a bathroom door clear off its hinges in his insanely-jealous homicidal rage, which, considering the depravity of his crime, is itself a negligible damage.
