#BREAKING NEWS - Oregon officials are reporting an active shooter and dozens of injured and/or dead at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg.
Multiple law enforcement agencies, including officers from the Oregon State Police, have responded to reports of gunfire on the campus at this hour.
Initial body-counts are very high, with up to 15 dead and an additional 20 wounded, but these preliminary figures are unconfirmed.
Although local media suggests a single gunman may have been “detained” by now, it’s not clear yet if there is more than one shooter involved and, if so, whether they remain at large.
The community college’s website is currently down -- a Douglas County fire department spokesman from district #2 first reported the incident.
