A Philippine boy hiking the jungle near his village found a downed Malaysian jet “full of skeletons” last month, and officials are now trying to determine if it’s missing flight MH370.

Local authorities didn’t begin investigating the grisly crash scene on the island of Tawi Tawi until this week, however, because the teen didn’t realize its significance, his 46-year-old uncle said.
Jamil Omar explained that his nephew doesn’t have daily access to the media and didn’t know about a missing Malaysian airplane when he stumbled upon a similar-looking fuselage containing human remains in September.
Omar told various news sources that the youth took a large swath of fabric from the site as a keepsake, which turned out to be a Malaysian national flag.
He also said there were “many skeletons” of passengers still strapped into their seats onboard the downed craft, and even one sitting “in the pilot’s seat.”
Malaysia’s transport minister has cautiously greeted the news that the wreckage of MH370 may have been found on Tawi Tawi, hoping it will soon be officially verified and the riddle of the country’s missing flight solved at last.
The Boeing 777 was bound for Beijing from Kuala Lumpur last March when it suddenly disappeared from radar; on its journey into oblivion taking with it 239 passengers and crew -- all feared dead by now.
