Police searching for missing Connecticut couple Jeanette and Jeffrey Navin (below) made a grisly discovery yesterday in an abandoned house near Bridgeport:

Two dead bodies.

The Navins vanished at the beginning of August 2015, and although their blood-spattered and vandalized vehicle was found at a parking lot about a week later, there has been no progress in solving their double missing-persons case.

Bodies of Missing Couple Jeannette and Jeffrey Navin Believed to Have Been Found Inside Abandoned House in Bridgeport Conn.

A troubled, drug-abusing son was immediately suspected of foul play in their disappearance, due to a bevy of suspicious text exchanges with his father, Jeffrey Navin, on the topic of matricide and “being framed.”

Coincidentally, both Navin and his wife vanished without a trace shortly after those curious messages were sent and received that day.

However, by September 2015, all police had to charge 27-year-old Kyle Navin with was possession of illegal substances and weapons.

In addition to finding guns, heroin and other controlled substances at the prime suspect’s Bridgeport Connecticut home, investigators also discovered industrial-strength cleaning products purchased in the days after his parents went missing.

A law enforcement official working the crime scene in Bridgeport where two bodies were reportedly found on Thursday told reporters that detectives continue to search the vacant house for additional evidence.

The dead have not been identified yet, he said.
