Shown in the reward poster below, Rose Downwind went missing a week after the abduction and murder of 18-year-old Minnesota student Laura Ann Schwendemann this month.

No one has seen or heard from Ms. Downwind since the afternoon of October 21st when she allegedly left a Bemidji neighborhood, “possibly” in a “blue vehicle.”
The 31-year-old mother-of-five is the granddaughter of Dennis Banks, a cofounder of the American Indian Movement, and resides in Redby MN.
Banks is being joined in the search for his missing relative by reality-show star Duane Chapman of “Dog the Bounty Hunter” fame.
Dog Chapman is also offering a $10,000 reward for help in successfully solving her missing persons case.
Rose Downwind is a light skinned and petite First Nations female with dark shoulder-length hair. It’s believed she was wearing a blue sweater and black slacks when she disappeared.
Anyone who has seen her or who knows of her current whereabouts is asked to call the Bemidji Minnesota police at 218-333-9111.
