He was found dead of an apparent drowning this week on Plymouth Beach by workers repairing a barrier wall.

The 18-year-old college student was reported #missing by his parents on October 18, 2015, a day after he didn’t return home from dropping his sibling off and performing other family errands.

The next day, Quispe-Almendro’s abandoned vehicle was discovered in Quincy Massachusetts and his mother immediately suspected the worse; publicly expressing fears that someone had done “something bad” to her son.

Gisella Almendro also posted fliers throughout her community of Malden as well as where Josue’s car had been located. However, by November, police were informing her they had no new leads in his missing persons case.

Today, despite her belief that her teen had been harmed -- and that he did in fact turn up dead -- the District Attorney has suggested no foul play was involved in Josue Quispe’s unexplained disappearance or death.

If anyone knows otherwise you are urged to contact the Malden police at 781-397-7171, without delay.
