Tallahassee Lassie Slugged by DeAndre Johnson Was Asking For It, Says Atty.

Jul 7, 2015

A lawyer for fired QB DeAndre Johnson says the Tallahassee lassie who “Mr. Football” slugged with a sucker punch that ultimately cost him a player position at Florida State University, was basically asking for it.

Surveillance video of the shocking wallop to the face Johnson gave the 21-year-old at a crowded bar on June 24th naturally went viral once uploaded, and that’s why the star college-athlete’s football career is rightfully sidelined now.

Appearing on NBC’s Today show, his astonishingly thoughtless attorney sunk Johnson even further into quicksand by claiming his violent client “accidentally” bumped into the victim, only decking the young woman when she raised a fist, called him bad names, and tried to knee him in the crotch.

“Of course” ex FSU QB DeAndre Johnson is “owning” his egregious reaction to the girl's *threatening* body language (largely because he’s being pursued for it by state prosecutors) but the dismissed footballer “was not” the aggressor and has pleaded innocent to all charges related to his vicious attack.

The Tallahassee lassie he publicly battered is also a student at Florida State University. She suffered injuries near her left eye socket in Johnson’s animal-like assault, as well as cuts to her cheek, nose and mouth.

The sickening excuses made in defense of the crime by Johnson’s lawyer on nationwide television shouldn’t come as a big surprise, though.

It’s Jose Baez, after all -- the same defense attorney that got Casey Anthony off.
