A Whitehouse aide and special assistant to the President has been busted this week in Maryland for assaulting her cop boyfriend with his own firearm.
Barvetta Singletary, whose duties include managing Obama’s rapport with the House of Representatives, is charged with assaulting, threatening, and even attempting to shoot her beau, after the two had a lover’s spat Friday evening.
The hotheaded 37-year-old senior WH aide is free this week after posting a $75,000 bond, but, come September, will have to face trial for both first and second degree assault, as well as reckless endangerment.
Singletary’s salaried position at the Whitehouse earns her almost $130,000 a year and is probably no longer secure due to her hasty actions this weekend which revealed a shocking propensity toward violence.
According to the incident report, she fired at least one shot at the unnamed victim, although no one was actually injured in their domestic dispute.
