Wild Goose Chase for Two Escaped Convicts Sighted EVERYWHERE

Jun 11, 2015

In the search for two escaped convicts, police are being sent in every direction this week, even back to the upstate New York prison that the deadly duo broke out of … but their dangerous quarry hasn’t been caught yet.

So far possible sightings in New York, Pennsylvania and Vermont have sent authorities on a wild goose chase for the men, with another “500 leads” they’re saying they intend to actively pursue next.

Meanwhile, convicted killer-fugitives Richard Matt, 48, and David Sweat, 34, are defying odds and making history with an unprecedented prison break and their unparalleled length of time on the lam.

The two used power saws and drills to cut their way through stone and steel to freedom, in a cunning plot that authorities insist had to be an inside job, although only one unlikely accomplice has been named -- a female work supervisor.

Whatever the purportedly “love struck” woman’s role was (if any) and despite the massive manhunt, the whereabouts of her former jailbird employees still remain a mystery, prompting at least one flabbergasted lawman to admit something already glaringly clear to the rest of us:

"I have no information on where they are or what they're doing, to be honest with you," said New York State Police Superintendent, Joseph D'Amico.
