Amazon Yanks ISIS Propaganda Rag Dabiq (finally)

Jun 7, 2015

Amazon has finally stopped selling the ISIS propaganda rag Dabiq on its website, yanking the CreateSpace self-pubbed periodical without notice or ceremony.

The bogus paperback had been for sale worldwide on Amazon.com via its very own print division for a couple of weeks, yet was still simultaneously downloadable elsewhere online for free.

"This product is no longer available for sale," Amazon’s spokespeople succinctly informed reporters for the BBC this weekend.

According to the company’s records, the now-scorned publication’s author was plainly listed as “al-Hayat Media Center” --  the western-obsessed media branch of the infamous Islamic State.

Additionally, the terror group boldly described Dabiq magazine in Amazon listings as "a periodical magazine focusing on issues of tawhid (unity), manhaj (truth-seeking), hijrah (migration), jihad (holy war), and jama'ah (community)."

Why it took Amazon’s publishing police so long to recognize the anti-American rag and its outlaw producer is a mystery though, since, once upon a time, the 600-pound gorilla retailer used to be on top of everything.

No comment from ISIS or Jeff Bezo.
