BREAKING NEWS: Pennsylvania’s attorney general Kathleen Kane can’t practice law without a license, and hers was just revoked by the state’s highest court.

The decision to disbar the embattled AG comes almost a month after Kane was arrested on eight criminal counts related to leaking secret grand jury evidence damning to a political rival, and perjury.
Although the court insisted it wasn’t removing Kathleen Kane from office by suspending her law license today, it’s tantamount to doing so since she can’t legally perform any of her duties -- namely prosecuting other criminals -- without it.
Today’s suspension could also pave the way now for a senate vote ousting her from office.
Kane et al curtly responded to reporters’ seeking comment this afternoon, stating only that they were “reviewing” the State Supreme Court’s decision.
