BREAKING: Second Escaped Con Shot Near Serial Killer Israel Keyes Lair in NY

Jun 28, 2015

BREAKING NEWS: A second escaped con has been shot near the upstate NY village of Constable, once the secret lair of now-dead serial killer Israel Keyes

The town lies within the massive Adirondack mountain range, known for its dense old-growth forests, bug-infested swamplands, pristine lakes, missing persons … and ghosts.

New York Times is reporting that 35-year-old David Sweat -- one of two convicted murderers who staged an epic jailbreak this month from the high-security Clinton Correctional facility -- was surrounded by state and federal agents today, then shot by a trooper as he tried to run.

Sweat’s condition is not known at this hour, but days ago his partner in crime Richard Matt was gunned down by officers in the same remote area, after “failing to comply” with orders to lay down his weapons and surrender.

According to the coroner, Matt was suitably dressed and fit for weeks on the run in such an inhospitable environment as the Adirondacks, although an autopsy also revealed that the slain escapee was “intoxicated” at the time of death.

This breaking news story is developing.
