Another not-too-nimble nimrod has committed suicide by selfie.
This week’s victim was a 19-year-old man posing for a self-portrait with -- yes -- a loaded firearm pointed precariously in all directions while he was fussing with a camera.
“A witness told police he was taking a selfie with a gun and the gun accidentally discharged," said a law enforcement spokeswoman in Houston.
According to the testimony of the unnamed eyewitness, when the weapon went off, a bullet fatally penetrated the distracted cellphone shooter’s “upper body.”
The identity of the youth who inadvertently committed suicide by selfie in Texas has not been revealed, but he was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders.
The incident is still under investigation.
