Weirdo Sneaks into House and Hides Under a Bed for Days in NJ

Jul 24, 2015

A creepy New Jersey man takes Crime Magazine’s Weird Crime award today, after being charged for sneaking into a woman’s home while she was taking out the trash and secretly hiding under a bed for days.

Eccentric suspect Jason Hubbard has been jailed on burglary charges for his strange act of boldness, as well as for theft of services, since he also used the victim’s electric to charge four of his cellphones while illegally in her residence.

Prosecutors say Hubbard chose the bed of Margaret Adamcewicz’s daughter to live beneath for awhile, apparently because he used to date the woman several years ago.

The two have not been in touch since breaking it off though, making his weird crime even stranger and, of course, for her, kind of annoying.

"I haven't heard from him in five years," the younger Adamcewicz said. "I wasn't scared. I was just angry."

Her ex boyfriend remains in custody in lieu of 50,000 bond, where, reportedly, he sleeps on his cell cot, as opposed to under it.
