Police say a butchered brother in the massacre at Broken Arrow this week fingered two older siblings as the killers with his last dying breath.
Initially investigators said officers responded to the home near Tulsa Oklahoma on Wednesday after receiving a silent 911 call. But today they revealed it was one of the slain children who had dialed and spoken with a dispatcher long enough to tell them what was taking place and who was responsible for the carnage found later.
The dead boy’s 18-year-old sibling Robert Bever, shown in the bloody mugshot below, is now in custody for the mass murder of the Bever family, as well as a 16-year-old accomplice -- a second brother whose name hasn’t been released yet because he’s a minor.

The motive for the bloodbath the two teen suspects orchestrated with knives, hatchets, and “similar weaponry” is still unknown, but it claimed the lives of both their parents, David and April Bever (52 and 44 respectively), as well as three younger Bever children ages 5, 7 and 12.
A 13-year-old sister who survived the assault with multiple stab wounds is still being hospitalized, and likewise has identified her two older brothers as the perpetrators.
A toddler girl, age 2, was discovered unharmed in an upstairs room, possibly only because the murderers were interrupted when police unexpectedly arrived.
Records show that all of the Bever children had been homeschooled and considered by their neighbors as well behaved. A claim which appears to be supported by the fact that none, including the two accused Bever brothers, had a criminal history.
The Bever family’s “unprecedented” slaughter has chilled the affluent community of Broken Arrow, a relatively safe suburb of Tulsa which is home to about 103,000 people.
The crime scene there continues to be probed for evidence in the “unheard of” attack, said the Tulsa District Attorney, Steve Kunzweiler, who earlier today released the following partial update:
"The recent multiple homicide which occurred in the city of Broken Arrow is a tragic event which continues to be a matter under investigation. My office is coordinating with the Broken Arrow Police Department's detectives as their investigation proceeds.”
The OSBI (Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation) has also joined forces with the DA’s office and BAPD investigators, due to “the magnitude of the crime.”
