Feds Nab Film Flick Fugitive

Aug 2, 2015

Jason Stange is not only a lead in an upcoming B-rated film flick, but a bank robber on the lam too

The 44-year-old ex con has a major part in the low-budget horror movie “Marla Mae” and, considering he jumped parole last year, that kind of exposure is risky enough.

But lately Stange had taken to publicly promoting the independent film as well, a stupid decision which he probably regrets:

Federal agents took notice of a recent News Tribune article about the Washington state-based project in which photos of Stange were prominently featured.

Shortly thereafter, they located the fugitive prematurely celebrating at a restaurant not far from the movie set and arrested him.

The would-be cinema star is in jail now, charged with parole violations, but Marla Mae producers say their notorious leading man will still keep his role in their film, regardless.

The horror flick is scheduled to be released sometime in 2016, but that won’t be the case for Jason Stange, whether or not it becomes a cult classic.
