An ax wielding clown in a rainbow wig has been arrested in North Carolina, days after artlessly attempting to chop a woman to smithereens.
Police say 28-year-old James Raybon forcibly entered the home of a 31-year-old female, dressed to kill in full circus gear, but she somehow managed to escape from him without being harmed.
When the victim reported the unfunny hatchet-man’s weird crime to police, she told them she also succeeded in lifting his mask as he fled the premises, and further believed her attacker might be an acquaintance.
An all points bulletin was then issued for the masked maniac and an ax-wielding clown in a rainbow wig finally turned himself in yesterday.
It seems, however, that Raybon may just be a stage name -- the killer clown was also booked on outstanding warrants for breaking and entering and assault with a deadly weapon as Robert Gross.
