Azog the Defiler -- also known as actor Manu Bennett -- has been arrested in Texas for drunkenly assaulting someone over the weekend.
The Hobbit’s creepy Orc warlord was attending a comic convention in San Antonio, and had apparently been drinking too much “and causing a scene” on Saturday night at the Grand Hyatt.
Thus, management asked the drunken Defiler to leave and, as he was in the process of belligerently complying with the demand, he sucker-punched a man standing by the exit.
The 45-year-old cinematic super villain was arrested at his hotel room hours later for battery, and released the next day.
Both Bennett and his agent declined to comment on the incident.
