Troubled actor Shia LaBeouf (shown in the mugshot below) was arrested for drunkenness and jaywalking yesterday in Austin Texas.
The incident occurred early Friday evening not far from the Austin City Limits music fest, although a police spokesman refused to provide additional details.
The 29-year-old A-list actor has racked up quite a lot of petty run-ins and bizarre episodes in recent times, all of which may be due to an out of control drinking problem -- or worse.
Beginning with LaBeouf’s plagiarism of work created by cult cartoonist Dan Clowes a few years back, to a number of other equally strange acts since their artistic kerfuffle, it seems the unsteady entertainer is on a steady downward spiral.
A representative for Shia LaBeouf also declined to comment on the film star’s latest public meltdown.
