The search for missing student Mandeep Singh (below) who disappeared this October from a waterfront bar in Auckland New Zealand has officially ended, upon claims by police that he’s probably dead.

Police divers were observed looking for the 20-year-old’s body in nearby Viaduct Harbour these past couple of days, but each time came up empty-handed.
That rescue-and-recovery operation has been completed now, investigators announced today, stating there is no evidence at this point to suggest foul play in Singh’s missing persons case.
Mandeep Singh was reportedly last seen alive on nearby Queens Wharf the Sunday morning that he vanished into thin air; a sighting which has finally influenced New Zealand authorities to downgrade their concerns about his fate.
Therefore, even if the still-missing student is subsequently found dead (or more likely drowned), “we are not treating his disappearance as suspicious,” they said.
