Missing Youth Found Dead in Woods Off I-95 Was Murdered - Maryland

A missing persons report was filed for Thomas Pope one day before the youth’s body was found in a wooded area off I-95 in Baltimore County Maryland. 

A coroner has since ruled the 18-year-old Middle River resident’s manner of death a homicide, although his cause of death hasn’t been disclosed at this time.

Pope’s corpse had been dumped in woods accessible from the interstate via a seasonal fire service route and was discovered there by transportation workers on October 27th.

State Police from the JFK Highway Barrack are urging anyone with information about the victim’s activities prior to his murder this month -- and/or the circumstances of Pope’s killing -- to contact them at 410-537-1150.

Metro Crime Stoppers is also offering a reward for info which leads to the arrest of the party or parties who perpetrated Thomas Pope’s homicide.
