Teen Kidnapper Arrested

A teen kidnapper arrested for the attempted abduction of a toddler in Washington state this week is now being held and interrogated at a youth detention center.

Due to his age, the minor’s name has not been released, but the bold crime he perpetrated took place at a playground where the victim, Owen Wright, and two older siblings were playing together unsupervised.

Owen’s 10-year-old brother and 8-year-old sister foiled the would-be kidnapping by heroically pursuing the 15-year-old right after he snatched their baby brother and ran off.

Surveillance film captured from a nearby supermarket showed the teen running with Owen clutched in his arms, then letting him go when he realized the two brave children were chasing him.

Thereafter, the massive manhunt for the young unidentified male in the store’s security footage ended successfully with the teen kidnapper arrested and swiftly jailed.

Whatever twisted deed he had in mind had he escaped with his helpless victim is currently be explored by investigators, although the entire incident has scary similarities with a sensational crime committed many years ago by yet two other deviant boys.

MUGSHOT: child-rapers and killers, Venables and Thompson

On February 12, 1993, at a crowded store in Great Britain, 2-year-old James Patrick Bulger was slyly stolen from his mother’s side by a pair of now-infamous ten-year-olds, Jon Venables and Robert Thompson.

The delinquent duo then secreted Bulger away to some abandoned train tracks a few miles from the shopping center and, over a period of hours, proceeded to brutally beat, torture, rape and murder the defenseless child.

Days later, the toddler’s mutilated body was found half buried with rubble in the same spot he’d been slain.

At the time, detectives poring over security footage taken on the day James Bulger had originally gone missing were stunned to discover that the small child’s perverted kidnappers and killers were in fact baby-faced themselves.

Since then, however, youth on youth violence has seemingly become an incurable epidemic, while, oddly enough, the rate of violent crimes committed by adults against other adults is purportedly declining.
