It’s been nearly a month since pretty Dr. Kendra Hatcher (below) was gunned down execution-style in a parking garage near her Dallas home, and yet the trail to her killer already seems to have grown cold.
“It is surprising to me that we are three weeks out and we don't have another arrest,” said Texas-based criminal justice consultant, Peter Schulte. “The further you get away from the actual date of the crime, the less evidence you are going to be able to collect,” he warned.
Initially, the 35-year-old pediatric dentist appeared to be the victim of an armed robbery gone amok -- or so police had reckoned.
But, with the arrest of a talkative 20-something dental assistant just days after Hatcher’s assassination on September 2nd, it became clear something even more nefarious was behind her brutal slaying.
Something like a love triangle…
So, what accounts for the delay in taking others into custody who’ve since been linked to the suspected revenge killing of Kendra Hatcher?
A *shortage* of manpower and resources. Perhaps.
